Where does time go! January has simply flown by and February looks set to do the same here at SC HQ.
We launched a new product this month- our Instant Miracle Mask, if you haven’t managed to get your hands on one yet it’s on sale on our website, in Space NK stores nationwide and will be on QVC on the 28th. It brightens, cleanses, firms, soothes and lifts revealing a completely rejuvenated complexion. As a special promotion on our website we’ll be giving away a deluxe 5ml sample of our best-selling Intense Hydrating Booster which is ideal for layering underneath to increase absorption of this skin quencher into the skin. A perfect instant pick me up during dreary February!
Overnight Facial is QVC’s product of the month during February. I’ll be making many appearances on both QVC and QVC’s Beauty Channel throughout the month with two dedicated hours to open and close the month at 7pm on Wednesday the 1st and 8pm on Tuesday the 28th. Last night was the first night with so many of you calling in to get your hands on the product of the month and our new and exclusive product, Instant Miracle Mask. I’ve got plenty of other slots lined up as well so if you’re a regular to QVC look out for me throughout the month!
A few weeks ago we were at QVC’s annual Beauty Bash, it was great to meet so many of our dedicated fans and get their feedback first hand. We had a pop up Skinesis facial station where Philippa was busy again providing mini bespoke facials.
We’ve also been on Space NK’s hotspot throughout the month so watch out for the entire range on display in your nearest store and chat to the brilliant sales team about ways to use the new mask. One of my dermal therapist’s Philippa will be in selected stores as well this month dishing out bespoke facials. Philippa will be in Chiswick on the 16th and St. Albans on the 23rd so call up if you want to book in and see her and experience one of our signature treatments!
I also went to the InStyle Best Beauty Buy awards on the 31st of January, which I was on the judging panel for; it was a wonderful event with loads of industry insiders and a great chance to catch up with everyone. Sadly with QVC early the next morning I couldn’t enjoy a celebratory glass of champagne with all of the lucky winners!
We’ve got plenty more product and treatment news coming up in the next few months as well as plenty more QVC shows and all sorts of other events so watch out for news from us here, we’ve also just launched on Facebook, become a fan of our page to take advantage of hearing the latest news and exclusive online offers- we have a Valentine’s Day offer on the website today so spoil yourslef or a loved one!
That’s it for now!
Love

We were getting in the Christmas spirit last night as we headed out for our office party!
We went to our local ice skating rink at the Natural History Museum under the sparkling trees of Kensington and with initially some very wobbly skaters turned into quite the professionals within the session. It was absolutely brilliant with only one fall amongst our group (and it wasn’t me!). The Christmassy backdrop with all the trees individually lit up along the branches against the stunning architecture of the museum creates a beautiful winter setting and it was all perfectly completed with a glass of mulled wine all round and dinner at Carluccios. Great to have one of those rare occasions of the whole team in one place together.
I also got a lovely early Christmas present in the post last week from Chanel, a signature snow globe with lots of shopping bags under a tree- exactly what most girls would want for Christmas!
It looks like 2012 is going to be exceptionally busy for us all here with new treatments, new products and a whole host of events lined up already so I’m really looking forward to escaping to Scotland for a few days to relax over Christmas and maybe even enjoy some snow!
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and New Year wherever you are!
Love Sarah

Phew! Crazy season is upon us, but don’t you just love it?
The last few weeks have been a whirlwind here at Sarah Chapman Skinesis. Recently caught up for facial with the lovely Jemma Kidd who looked fabulous and Jill Franks from QVC, on top of all my regular clients who are squeezing in for facials before the Christmas holidays.
I still managed time to go to Josh Wood Colour to sort my hair out and went to my first Pilates session at Vita Pilates and now need to fit this in twice a week! I signed up for a chocolate yoga workshop this Sunday at Triyoga, with my yoga guru Lisa Larn- so I’ll have to let you know how it goes and what we do!
Looking forward to two events next week at Space NK and BECCA Cosmetics as we enter into party season.
So excited to see Jo Malone in person talking about her experiences and introducing the new Jo Loves fragrance range. Jo Malone started as a facialist and built a global brand and so for me is a great inspiration. Quite moving to hear about her incredible support from Evelyn Lauder during her battle with cancer, especially following the sad passing of Evelyn, such a true icon in the beauty world.
I often sit on the judging panel for press and industry beauty awards and this year I was lucky enough to be involved in Stylist’s skincare awards. I attended a lovely morning breakfast ceremony in the company of quite a few familiar faces and shared my table with the editor Lisa and Dr Sam Bunting and Catherine Bossom from Space NK, which proved for some great industry chat. Stylist is always a brilliant read and really hot on beauty and skincare so it was exciting to be involved and test all the nominated products.
What a fabulous way to start the week!
Last night saw the return of my dedicated hour show on QVC- Sarah Chapman High Performance Skincare. Once again it was another whirlwind with products selling out before I even got to talk about them! This time I had the pleasure of sitting opposite the lovely Jill Franks, whose energy and drive really helped make the show. The Christmas Kit flew off the shelves so I’m glad to see some people doing their Christmas shopping early! I’m so pleased we had another incredible show.
Thank you again to all of our dedicated QVC customers and hopefully see you again before the new year!
Last night I attended the CEW Awards banquet for which I was nominated as one of their Member Achievers for 2011.
It was such a great night for catching up with everyone in the industry, the CEW always put on a good event and I went home with the most beautiful bouquet of celebratory flowers!
I received an urgent SOS phone call the other day from super model Erin O’Connor who runs the Model Sanctuary for worn out models to retreat too during London Fashion Week. Make-up, late nights, poor diets and long hours were showing on models faces and Erin needed some ‘skinh elp’. We devised a Skinesis detox facial and raced to the emergency, setting up a pop up Skinesis therapy room in the Covent Garden town house.
The Model Sanctuary is a relaxing retreat in Covent Garden away from the stress of the catwalk for models to relax and have some pampering in between their hectic fashion week schedules. The constant application of make-up, long days and late nights can have such a damaging effect on models skin when they want to be looking their best. Our facials helped to give the models a deep cleanse and intense hydrating treatment to help boost the skin and fend off problem skin during one of the most stressful times of the fashion calendar.
It’s such an honour to have been part of this project, the stress that models can feel during intense shows can be overwhelming and the model sanctuary isn’t just about pampering but tackles some of the serious issues and pressures models face in the fashion industry every day.
All in all a very glamorous and productive week for us here and we’re already looking forward to next year!

Last night Team Skinesis hit the town for Vogue Fashion Night Out, we partnered up with our new friends at Butler and Wilson to supply some Skinesis goodies for their press packs. It was a big QVC night with plenty of familiar faces for me and a great opportunity to catch up with everyone! In true Butler and Wilson style they had a full array of ‘bling’ including some absolutely gorgeous vintage dresses.
From South Molton Street we sped off to Bond Street to drop in on Chanel, the queue for Sophy Robson manicures was practically out the door! So whilst we sadly didn’t get one on the day we did get a sneaky look at their fantastic new collection inspired by different shades of denim- Les Jeans de Chanel. I have since tried them and the colours are amazing!
A lively night of fashion and champagne, Bond Street was alive with energy, the perfect way to kick off fashion week!
I had some exciting news yesterday; I’ve been honoured with a nomination for a CEW Achievers award!
The CEW have been such a supportive organisation for all of its members and I’m so thrilled that I’ve made the short list for this year’s awards out of all of the influential women at the top of our industry.
The awards are on the 10th of October so I’ll have my fingers crossed until then!
