CEW Nomination

I had some exciting news yesterday; I’ve been honoured with a nomination for a CEW Achievers award!

The CEW have been such a supportive organisation for all of its members and I’m so thrilled that I’ve made the short list for this year’s awards out of all of the influential women at the top of our industry.

The awards are on the 10th of October so I’ll have my fingers crossed until then!

Last night saw my premiere hour show on QVC and what a night it was!

We had designed some new collections especially for the occasion and I’m pleased to announce we had a sell-out night. I could hardly catch my breath to talk about something before it was gone! I always love the buzz and excitement of being in front of the camera but this was a real adrenalin rush! Alison Young was a fantastic presenter and great at keeping up with the pace and leading the show. Tarryn was demonstrating our techniques and products and did well to keep up with the super quick sell outs and product applications.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our fans for their support over the years and thanks for making last night’s premiere show such a success- I’ll hopefully be back on QVC a few times before the year is out so watch out for news of any upcoming shows on the website and on twitter.

Mary’s Living and Giving

We all like to help charity but when it’s combined with fabulous shopping there’s another great reason to be there! Last night we went to the launch of Mary Portas’ newest Living and Giving store in Parson’s Green for Save the Children. It’s an absolutely gorgeous shop which had some great items; from vintage Louboutin’s, Tom Ford sunglasses, unique ball and cocktail dresses, to pictures and books. To celebrate the launch we gave away a facial to one lucky winner in a raffle with all proceeds going to charity.

The stock changes all the time and judging from the success of the other stores there will always be something exciting to discover in there. So go and have a browse and pick something up- after all it’s for a good cause! I couldn’t resist a Barnes and Noble London image for my office.
