It has been really exciting to read the press featuring the University of Reading’s research about Matrixyl peptide and celebrating its proven potent effect on collagen production. I have been a believer in this ingredient for a long time and use it in optimum doses in some of my products launched over 4 years ago. In some cases Matrixyl has been found to nearly double the amount of collagen skin produces, a process which naturally decreases as we age. This research proves Matrixyl’s positive skincare benefits, scientists are also looking into the use of this ingredient for more medical based healing and rejuvenating treatments- showing its potency and strength. The announcement of this research coincides with Age-Repair Serum (featuring Matrixyl) winning a Beauty Shortlist Award for Best Anti-Ageing Serum.

The launch of my new Neck and Chest Rejuvenating Complex has been incredible, with press support from the Anti-Ageing Beauty Bible, Vogue.com and in the current issue of Grazia. This week I reveal my new Overnight Hand and Nail Treatment online and in my Skinesis Clinic. Many of my clients say how much they love Overnight Facial and ask for something to give them the same skin improvements on the hands as these are often neglected and mismatched to their well cared for faces. This led to my close analysis of many pairs of hands and the formulation of my new luxurious elixir with targeted actives to address the different visible signs of ageing on the hands and nails. Net-a-Porter has announced the long anticipated launch of Net-a-Porter beauty. On the 20^th March 2013, Sarah Chapman Skinesis was unveiled as one of the 11 brands featured to launch in the UK, USA and Europe.  We are very excited to share our tips, online demos and new products globally with the Net-a-Porter customer.

Space NK are planning a nationwide spring promotion in all windows in all stores towards the end of April, I am really excited to announce that Skinesis will be part of this as one of the main brands featured, look out for us in store and online from April  23^rd. If you have been lucky enough to secure a place at one of Space NK’s spring events for Brides-to-be from April 9^th-18^th then you will find my award-winning Age-Repair Serum in your goody bag.

Out and about I have been in Italy; we are launching in some new spas and stores so I will update you with more news on this soon. Capri Palace is set to re-open in April following the winter break, I am looking forward to my facials second season in this beautiful destination resort.

The last month has simply flown by, it seems that only a few weeks ago we were basking in the last of the summer sun and now there’s a definite nip in the air as we move towards winter. This highlights the need for small skincare routine changes to cope with the cold weather to come and I notice that my clients all need some good skin cleaning and extraction to clear out the pores post summer SPF usage.

It’s always busy here at Skinesis and there’s plenty more to come before the year is out, here’s a quick catch-up of what I’ve been up to this month.

I am so pleased to announce that my Instant Miracle Mask was awarded “Best Pre-Party Skin Treat” in Harper’s Bazaar Beauty Hot 100. It’s fantastic to win this accolade and see my products alongside the big giants of the beauty world in such a respected glossy magazine.

Instant Miracle Mask wasn’t the only award winner this month with Overnight Facial winning Psychologies runner-up for best serum in their Positive Beauty Awards. I’m so glad that everyone loves this product as much as I do and thank you so much to everyone who voted.

I was invited to be part of a photo shoot for Vogue USA with the gorgeous Jemma Kidd before the launch of her new book; Jemma kindly invited me to contribute to the skincare section so look out for it as it hits the shelves later on this year. This month also saw the launch of the new Anti-Ageing Beauty Bible. It’s a must read for any beauty junkie and is written by highly respected and lovely industry insiders Jo Fairley and Sarah Stacey.

I had a great day on QVC’s September Beauty Day, catching up with nail guru Leighton Denny and presenter Jill Franks as well as enjoying the buzz of beauty day. There’s plenty more QVC shows to come in October and November with lots of special kits especially for the Christmas season and our QVC fans. There may even be some new products to watch out for!

Our new Stem Cell Collagen Activator is now available in the Clinic. Wow what a few weeks!

I’m absolutely thrilled to see my two newest products, Instant Miracle Mask and Chin and Jaw Lift shortlisted in the Elle Beauty Awards for best Treatment Mask and Best Anti-Ageing product respectively. Everyone’s favourite Overnight Facial was nominated for best serum in the Psychologies positive beauty awards and Instant Miracle Mask for Best Special Treatment Product. Winning one of these awards for such new products would be amazing so thank you so much if you voted for us!

July saw the launch of Chanel’s pop-up boutique in Covent Garden, make-up artists Mary Greenwell and Kay Montano were on hand armed with Chanel’s latest and greatest cosmetics. I had a lovely evening with all of my Chanel and beauty industry friends, such a glamorous way to start the week! The boutique is open until December and well worth a visit, it’s designed like sweetshop for make-up junkies. Keep a look out for the Chanel cab’s that will be driving around town painted in colours inspired by the Chanel make-up range.

Age-Repair Serum is also celebrated as an Olympic gold medal product selected by Space NK, we’ll be giving away 2ml samples of Dynamic Defence with every Age-Repair Serum sold on our website.

August 16^th saw our anniversary on QVC! I can’t believe it’s been a year since the first Sarah Chapman High-Performance Skincare and thank you so much to all of you for all of your support through-out the year- there’s lots more to come from Skinesis so I hope you all carry on watching and talking to us about your favourite pieces.

We have also been developing some new treatments in the clinic with our Stem Cell Collagen Activator and a new machine so I will let you know more about that soon.

Where does time go! January has simply flown by and February looks set to do the same here at SC HQ.

We launched a new product this month- our Instant Miracle Mask, if you haven’t managed to get your hands on one yet it’s on sale on our website, in Space NK stores nationwide and will be on QVC on the 28th. It brightens, cleanses, firms, soothes and lifts revealing a completely rejuvenated complexion. As a special promotion on our website we’ll be giving away a deluxe 5ml sample of our best-selling Intense Hydrating Booster which is ideal for layering underneath to increase absorption of this skin quencher into the skin. A perfect instant pick me up during dreary February!

Overnight Facial is QVC’s product of the month during February. I’ll be making many appearances on both QVC and QVC’s Beauty Channel throughout the month with two dedicated hours to open and close the month at 7pm on Wednesday the 1^st and 8pm on Tuesday the 28^th. Last night was the first night with so many of you calling in to get your hands on the product of the month and our new and exclusive product, Instant Miracle Mask. I’ve got plenty of other slots lined up as well so if you’re a regular to QVC look out for me throughout the month!

A few weeks ago we were at QVC’s annual Beauty Bash, it was great to meet so many of our dedicated fans and get their feedback first hand. We had a pop up Skinesis facial station where Philippa was busy again providing mini bespoke facials.

We’ve also been on Space NK’s hotspot throughout the month so watch out for the entire range on display in your nearest store and chat to the brilliant sales team about ways to use the new mask. One of my dermal therapist’s Philippa will be in selected stores as well this month dishing out bespoke facials. Philippa will be in Chiswick on the 16^th and St. Albans on the 23^rd so call up if you want to book in and see her and experience one of our signature treatments!

I also went to the InStyle Best Beauty Buy awards on the 31^st of January, which I was on the judging panel for; it was a wonderful event with loads of industry insiders and a great chance to catch up with everyone. Sadly with QVC early the next morning I couldn’t enjoy a celebratory glass of champagne with all of the lucky winners!

I had some exciting news yesterday; I’ve been honoured with a nomination for a CEW Achievers award!

The CEW have been such a supportive organisation for all of its members and I’m so thrilled that I’ve made the short list for this year’s awards out of all of the influential women at the top of our industry.

The awards are on the 10^th of October so I’ll have my fingers crossed until then!

I recently attended the International Institute of anti-ageing (IIAA) awards and won an award for salon of the year UK.  It came as such a surprise and we love our shiny new award which is already in the clinic for all to see!
